Stray FM talking about Crafters and "Rock the House" competion - Stray FM Radio
All of a sudden the Harrogate area seems to be awash with young rock bands who are mainstream but a bit 'alt' commercial but intelligent and more professional than i remember similar bands in the 90's locally.
After Kassius and Silver tone comes Crafters a Harrogate 4 piece lead by vocalist Max Granger and featuring lead guitarist Tom Meyer.
Influenced by the likes of The Cure, Coldplay, Biffy Clyro and The Mystery Jets, this original outfit are passionate and ambitious.
Earlier this week they appeared on BBC introducing on Radio York they are about to feature shortly on Stray FM;s Sunday sessions.
Crafters are playing the Fort in York on March 25th and, if your lucky you might catch them at one of the Blues Bar's excellent Monday night jam sessions. - Ackrills Media

Bio
We formed in Oct 2011. We are:
Tom Meyer - composes music and plays lead guitar and backing vocals.
Max Granger - writes lyrics, sings lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar.
Olly Robinson - drummer
Fraser Shepherd - bass guitar
Our influences range from The Doors and Dexys Midnight Runners to Coldplay and the Horrors.
We have a unique style in dress, stage presence and music style. We are passionate about playing live music and are currently enjoying exploring laying down tracks in the studio with professional producers.
We are all accomplished musicians and we write and perform all our own material which encompasses catchy melodies, intelligent lyrics, technical use of pedals and a blend of harmonies that give depth and individuality to our music. We are building a loyal following in the local area and are currently widening our exposure through gigs and social media.
