When I Think of You

Written By: Craig Bock

When I Think of You
Colossians 3:1-4

When I think of you, my soul is lifted high.
My life is so complete, and I know the reason why.
To think that you were willing to die upon a tree;
And raise in power and glory and you did it all for me.

Refrain:
Jesus why you love me so, I’ll never understand.
The countless blessings I have known all from your loving hand.
Now take all you’ve given me, and use me as you’ve planned.
I can’t do it on my own, but Lord with you I can.

And when I talk to you, my doubts all disappear.
You’ve met my every need. There’s nothing left to fear.
You’ve paid the price in full. There’s nothing left to owe.
Before I even speak, you’ve answered me I know.

And when I live in you, and let you have control,
All things will work out right, because you’ve told me so.
So use me now, just as you wish, I’ll follow as you say.
With such a priceless calling, how can I turn away?

Work for the Lord

Written By: Craig Bock

Work For the Lord
John 9:1-4

Refrain:
Work for the Lord, while there is still time.
It won’t be long til the end of the line.
Just look around- not all is fine.
But as this world gets darker, it’s your chance to shine.

If you’ve got a household, there’s people to love,
To care for, protect and point to God above.
If you want what’s best for your family,
You’ll start making plans for eternity.

If you’ve got a job, to go to each day,
Are you loving people, by what you do and say?
When you’re serving others, you’ll never get bored.
Whatever you’re doing, do for the Lord.

If you’ve got a church, there’s ministry to do.
There’s much more to church than sitting in the pew.
God has a calling especially for you.
There’s something for everyone, not just a few.

Listen

Listen
I Kings 19:9-12

Refrain:
Listen, won’t you listen- to the Spirit, deep inside you?
Listen, won’t you listen- to the spirit, He will guide you.

No, you won’t find him in the earthquake, or the thunder loud and clear.
But you will find him in the quiet, as he calms your deepest fear.

No you won’t find him in the fire, or the rolling rushing seas.
But you will find him gently speaking, as he fills your soul with peace.

No you won’t find him in the spotlight, where the crowds all stand and cheer.
But you will find him in each servant, who will gently dry a tear.

No you won’t find him in the armies, or the powers of this world.
But you will find him in the humble, who will follow Jesus’ word.

You are the King

Written By: Craig Bock

You are the King
Colossians 1:15-17

You are the King, Lord Jesus, You’re the ruler of all things.
Made the earth, the heavens, and all that’s in between.
And it’s all held together by your mighty hand.
No thing exists apart from your command.

You are the King, Lord Jesus, You’re the ruler of all time.
Just one day of yours is like a thousand years of mine.
You loved us and planned to die before the world began.
And you will rule long after the end.

My life on this earth is so fragile. My life in this world is so short.
I can never be what I am meant to be,
Without you now and for eternity

You are the King, Lord Jesus, You’re the ruler of my life.
I’d be lost and hopeless without Your sacrifice.
Your plan is all that counts, all else will pass away.
I’ll worship you and serve you every day.

Come and Drink

Written By: Craig Bock

Come and Drink
John 4:5-14

I’m not here to make you believe a certain way.
You may not even understand what I’m going to say.
But maybe some day along some desert road,
You’ll think back to what you once were told.

Refrain:
Come and drink the living water Jesus has for you.
He’ll take your cup and fill it up, and still he won’t be through.
Deep down inside you, eternally will be,
A well of Jesus’ love and power for all the world to see.

Jesus once was walking out in the scorching sun.
He asked a woman for a drink, and He told her all she’d done.
Such compassion and respect the woman never knew.
And when she left the well that day, she knew just what to do.

My friend if you are feeling the burden of your sin;
or if things haven’t quite worked out the way they should have been.
You’re just like that woman next to the well that day.
And if you listen closely, you’ll hear Jesus say.

Come and drink the living water that I have for you.
I’ll take your cup and fill it up, and still I won’t be through.
Deep down inside you, eternally will be,
A well of my love and power for all the world to see.

God of Second Chances

Written By: Craig Bock

God of Second Chances
Revelation 21:5

In my many times of loneliness, still you were by my side.
And you said “be patient, trust in me,” as you dried the tears I cried.
There were times I felt like giving up, I’ll just walk the road alone. But you never took your hand off me, as the Savior I have known.

Refrain:
You’re the God of second chances, That’s the way you’ve always been.
You’ve healed my heart so wounded from tragedy and sin.
You’re the Lord of new beginnings. You make each brand new day.
As you open the door to life and love, You have always made a way.

You have brought me up the hill from every dark valley.
And now I stand here with the one you chose to live with me.
To join with me in your great love, and follow where you lead. Together we will honor you, you are all we’ll every need.

As we walk this life together with the lessons we have learned,
You’ll be waiting there to guide us, every corner that we turn.
As we face those times of trials in this world of hurt and sin,
You’re the God of second chances, who will raise us up again.

I'm Alright

Written By: Craig Bock

I’m Alright
ohn 14:1-6

Such a short time on earth, couldn’t even say goodbye.
So few years from my birth, to laugh or to cry.
Still I’m at peace with the past, ‘cause I’ve know God’s love,
And nothing else lasts, both below or above.

Refrain:
Don’t you know I’m alright? Don’t you know I’m O.K.?
It may seem like the night. But it’s really the day.
Yes I want to be with you, but I know I can wait,
‘Til God’s through with his plan, and we meet at the gate.

I know you’re asking why. You just don’t understand.
Know that the Lord hears your sigh, He’s holding your hand.
And He’ll never let go, till He takes you here too,
And then you will know reasons you never knew.

Hold unto Jesus’ strong hand, He will give you his power.
Until you get to this land, He’ll guide every hour.
So reach out every day, with the love Jesus gives.
There’s no other way to eternally live.

God is not Finished Yet

Written By: Craig Bock

God Is Not Finished Yet
Philippians 1:6

Refrain:
God is not finished yet.
God is not finished yet.
God is not finished yet,
With me or with you.
God is not finished yet.
God is not finished yet.
God is not finished yet,
He’s still not through.

Do you get disappointed in the way things can be?
When you look at yourself, you may not like all you see.
It’s the one in the mirror Jesus died to forgive.
He’ll keep working for good for you as long as you live.

And when the world around you seems to crumble and fall,
You try to pick up the pieces and make sense of it all.
Although sin and destruction seem to win the day,
We can stand on God’s word, and with Him we can say.

When you face the future, you’re not sure where it leads.
The next step to take is not so easy to read.
God will never leave you alone , wherever you go,
And in each situation you can surely know.
