CRAIG & WILLOUGHBY

CRAIG & WILLOUGHBY

BandFolkAcoustic

Accomplished guitarist Brian Willoughby's strong British Folk Rock influence and acclaimed singer-songwriter Cathryn Craig's American Roots create an Anglicised Americana that blurs musical boundaries, with intricately crafted songs about true stories and life experiences.

Biography

After singing with a range of artists including The Righteous Brothers, Shel Silverstein, Jorma Kaukonnen and Chet Atkins, Cathryn's CDs Porch Songs and her family's Appalachian story Pigg River Symphony, have received high praise.
Brian has enjoyed a distinguished career, playing with Mary Hopkin, Monty Python, Joe Brown, Roger Whittaker, before joining Strawbs as lead guitarist and receiving a gold record with offshoot band The Monks.
Craig & Willoughby have both worked with Nanci Griffith, who also appeared on the duo's song for peace, Rumours of Rain, alongside Tom Paxton, Ralph McTell, Martin Carthy and members of Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne and Pentangle.
Craig & Willoughby's Alice's Song was released in support of The National Autistic Society's Year of Autism Awareness in the UK.
