Bio

We're Crash Island. We're a four-piece dark tropical indie rock band from Stoke Newington, London. Our members hail from Spain, France, and South Africa. We've played shows in France, Germany, Switzerland and all around the UK - from festivals, clubs and rooftops, to lake, parks, and midnight bus stops.

We started with two demo EPs in 2012. In 2013, we released our debut sudio Ep Strange Shores, which was mixed by Gordon Raphael (the Strokes) and is available on iTunes and Spotify. It is also being distributed in the US by Giant MKT. New Ep out early 2014.

Gig highlights:

"Really a talented band and Orange and Caprices Festival really did them and especially us a favour by putting a spotlight, literally, on this artist."
Jason DeBord rocksubculture.com, Switzerland

"London four-piece Crash Island deliver really lovely indie rock that's occasionally delay-heavy and tropical."
Time Out London

Wow! Thank you for showing me this music. Its so right up my street. The synth on the verse reminds me of me on a good day of course. Drumming and singing are f***king excellent. What can I say?
