~ABOUT THE CRASH MODERNS~

"Every generation has its favorite pop flavored rock. The '60s had The Monkees, the '70s had Sweet, the 80's had The Cars, the '90s had Barenaked Ladies, and 2008 has The Crash Moderns whose debut album Good Night Glamour, Good Morning Disaster is stacked with catchy saccharine filled pop tunes that will give you a monumental sugar rush... The Crash Moderns don't fit one particular niche, but are a composite of a whole bunch of different rock formations from the SoCal pop of The Monkees and the glam-rock of Sweet to the alternative rock of Barenaked Ladies and the new wave/dance-pop of The Cars." - ABSOLUTE PUNK

The Crash Moderns, NYC's stand out Power Pop Rock quintet, have recently released their highly anticipated debut full length record, Good Night Glamour, Good Morning Disaster to rave reviews.

"There are so many tracks on this record that have single written all over it. These songs will remain in your head for days..." - MELODIC.NET

Goodnight Glamour is being sold at Hot Topic retail stores around the country, who have reported selling out of the first run of this breakout record within days of its April 2008 release.

After barely six months together as a group, the metropolitan based quintet left home on a quest to bring their new style and dynamic power pop rock sound to fans all over the country. After touring the US and Canada supporting marquee acts such as Bowling for Soup, Bon Jovi and American Hi-Fi, The Crash Moderns landed several sold-out dates with Geffen recording artists Lifehouse. They have also had the opportunity to share the stage with other great bands such as the The Ataris, Bret Michaels (for the "Rock of Love Tour"), The Pink Spiders, The Matches, Zolof The Rock & Roll Destroyer, Red Car Wire, Eve 6, LIVE, as well as headlining a high profile show in front of thousands on South Padre Island for the Blender Sessions Spring Break 2008 concerts at the renowned Louie's Backyard. Cartel, Forever the Sickest Kids, and All Time Low were a few of the other bands booked for the event.

With a sound that is often compared to and described as pulling the best of the classic styles of timeless pop bands like The Cars, Elvis Costello and Cheap Trick, coupled with the energy of the best modern rock acts, The Crash Moderns are winning over new music fans daily who are buzzing about their infectious melodies and undeniable hooks that stick in your head after just one listen!

"...the absolute essence of flirtatious, effervescent, sublime pop music. With their fresh pop hooks and the synth high in the mix they have created an energetic, effortless and playful sound." - BLOGCRITICS.COM

The Crash Moderns have been featured as band of the week on Fox's Fearless Music TV as well as a recent full page article in the very hip Time Out NY magazine.

The group just arrived from a very successful US tour over February and March that included stand out showcases at Austin's Red Gorilla Music Festival.
With an exciting year already in progress for this up-and-coming group, The Crash Moderns will be touring relentlessly in support of their debut record for the remainder of 2009. This is a band to keep on your radar and the group's high energy live show is one not to be missed.

~PRESS~

The Crash Moderns are fantastic. This Time, Everybody Hates Me, Hello World, All About You, and Everything At Once is 100% killer. As soon as we saw this band live they impressed us immensely. The CD backs that up totally. - BLACK VELVET MAGAZINE

Having opened for Bon Jovi, Bowling for Soup and others, this NYC-based pop/rock quintet has fans buzzing over their infectious melodies and undeniable hooks. - ASCAP REVIEWS

"Well-rounded, hook-driven and highly layered vocals rule the day and pounding pop melodies explode around every corner. It's the type of commercial power pop that the masses who picked up Rooney and Maroon 5 would welcome. Built on beefy rhythms and unforgettable riffs, The Crash Moderns soar effortlessly to a place where joy, goose bumps, and repeated listens are unavoidable. The rush of guitars and classic vocal pop stylings make this an exhilarating, refreshing and spectacular debut." - NOT LAME

If Marvelous 3 had a head-on collision with Cheap Trick, the end result would sound something like the glorious power-pop-rock in evidence on The Crash Moderns' self-t
