Feeling a bit camera shy


Crash Poetry was formed in South lake Tahoe, 1993, two brothers Joseph Roberts and James Roberts with fellow musician Sam Matthews. Crash Poetry has performed in front of a wide variety of listeners throughout Nevada and California. Their songs have been played on KRZQ in Reno, KRLT in South Lake Tahoe, and KWOD in Sacramento.

Crash Poetry has been involved in many benefits and fundraisers to help communities. To a packed house, at the Little Walldorf In Reno, Crash Poetry generated thouands of dollars to help rebuild NASAC, a drug detoxification center in Reno, Nevada.

The band has bi-monthly performances at Anastasias' Asylum in Santa Monica, and the Equator Cafe in Pasadena where a portion of CD sales go to Child Help USA.

Crash Poetry has lived in Los Angeles for eight years where they are currently performing and recording their second album. This yet untitled release will be available in August 2005 through Wisdom Entertainmnet, and itunes. They have performed with bands such as "Stroke 9" and" Once" and played at venues such as the Viper Room, the Gig, the Mint, Monroes....

Their sound resembles that of, The Cure, Coldplay, Our Lady peace, and Toad The Wet Sprocket.
Crash Poetry recently recorded "In Reins" mixed by producer, Tim Palmer, (u2, Him, Tears For Fears, INXS, The Cure.)
