Having formed in the wilds of North Yorkshire, the band returned to their home towns around Oxford, bringing their subtle but powerful folkrock sound with them. Swapping instruments around to create varying sonic textures and exciting arrangements, Crayon bring together whisper quiet instrumental sections with epic wall-of-sound choruses, delving into elements of folk, psychedelia and shoegaze.
For the last 18 months they have been gigging up and down the country, including the Barfly in Camden and the Jericho Tavern in Oxford. They are currently working on a 5 track EP release.
