Bio

Hailing from the 400th block of Atlanta Georgia, Craze was born Chase Hines on November 7, 1983. Craze served four years in the United States Army where he would become acquainted with artist/producers Train and Moje Virgo. The three would later record and independently sell their debut album “No Antidote” (2003) under the group name, “Bad Bloodz” while stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Due to military service, the group was temporally separated and Craze would finish his tour solo in Germany. Craze continued to perform throughout Europe and open for acts such as Redman and Lil John. Upon his return to the United States in 2006, Craze reunited with Moje Virgo to form the rap duo “Kuzin” and record the album titled “Reconstruction” (2006) independently selling over 2,000 copies locally. The “Chop it up” (2007) Mix tape further established Craze as one of the most talented up and coming hip hop artist in the game. The energetic rhyme style of Craze coupled with the bass filled beats of Moje Productions garnered attention from various DJs resulting in continuous club spins.

“Craze definitely has a style of his own. He’s a very entertaining artist to listen to” Jay. R. Fogle (CEO of G3 All access Magazine). Craze has expanded his craft further by writing for numerous artist including up and coming R&B artist Charmita. Craze has also featured on songs from the Atlanta based music company 42 Entertainment, owned by Blue, a long time producer of artist such as Outkast, Young Joc, and Cotti. Early 2008, Craze began working on his debut solo album titled “Planet X” (slated for release late 08-09). “I feel like I’m in my own world and the X represents the unknown or undiscovered. That’s why I named my first album Planet X”-Craze

Currently still independent and unsigned, Craze continues to practice the art form of rap, perfecting his flow and searching for new opportunities.
