Bio

*THESE ARE JUST SOME OF MY BEATS*

The Story of MIke D begin's like this; In the Summer of '05, after my stint with "Prophet of The Dawn" I started making my own beats. I teamed up with his cousin "Boog" some months later for advice on the music he was making..(Boog was a freelance artist, working with such groups as "Ilsoe")...The timing seemed right, boog was feeling what mike was doing and from there "Craz Productions" was formed November 2005. Late November '05 "ThaVillain" came by the studio for fun and laid a track down, and soon after he jumped on with Craz P and is now expecting a release this spring....(ThaVillain was always a lyrist with no beat to be put on).....With 2006 coming the guys got on their "grind" and relasesed "Vol 1: "Dat Weight" on myspace for free... We shipped out over 300 copys in as little as 3 months, so that pushed the guys even harder to get some albums knocked out.... August 2nd 2006 was the first full length album recorded and finished by Craz Productions entitlled: "The Subliminal Message" By Boogie... This was his solo album ever....Completed with help from: Str8Game, AWP (from figures of speech). J. Castro (from pimplife) & Gerardo (from prophet of the dawn).....Then the live shows came around in august, with help from "Headache Ent." we were able to do our first 2 shows on thier bills...Sept. 28; Craz P. Promoted and hosted their first show ever at Tomcats (with help from Headache Ent.) Called "The Hustlers Dream" which featured acts from dallas in the same shoes as us... We were involved with "Bodog's Battle of The Bands" When the contest first opened up in May of '06 we were in the top 10 from dallas the whole summer!!! In order to recieve a ranking other fans from the web had to go to the website and vote for you... We played the 1st round at "The Curtian Club" and placed 2nd. We advanced to the 2nd round, but because of scheduling issues we couldn't play the 2nd round.... From the show on the 28th we went on and Promoted and Hosted our own show's at Tomcats throught the months of Oct., Nov., & Dec. of '06. Rocking crowds from 100 people to 175 (the max. capacity of the club was 225) on most occasions the shows were word of mouth, imagine if we had heavy radio/media support?.... I'm also a member of The Grammy's under the Texas Chapter, and a member of Ascap under the name of "Late Night Music By Craz"...
