Bio
Creatures of love are a two-piece band formed in
Kentish Town in the summer of 2009. Comprising
former art students; producer/ guitarist Chris Willsher
and lyricist/ vocalist Bonita McKinney.
Chris formerly of the band Sad Season (Mikee Goodman
- Sikth; Abi Fry - Bat For Lashes; Julia Ruzicka - Million
Dead) and Bonita a past Burlesque and ballet dancer,
are now embarking on Creating their own independent
sound; “Dream Pop”
With their music orchestrated by symphonic layered
guitars and analogue drum machines they are
complimented for their epic and moving instrumentation
combined with the individual and melancholy lyrics.
Playing throughout London, they have been compared to
Bat For Lashes, The XX, a shoegazey Paramore, Wild
Beasts and Florence and the machine, and with their
self released debut EP completed they are ready to
progress onto big things.
