Bio
Creekbed is a magic-folk project beaming out from Denver, CO. They create songs about shedding city-anxieties like snakeskin in favor of rolling with coyotes in the dust of twilight, sketching out new constellations and weaving strange harmonies in the cedarsmoke dark.
Creekbed formed as a collaboration between Rachel Gramig and Jesse Wooten, two children of the southeast who found musical kinship in the shadow of the Colorado front range. In past lives, Jesse played with Black Balsam in Austin, TX, and Rachel still sings long-distance with the Alex Krug Combo of Asheville, NC.
Creekbed is writing, touring, and recording an album comprised of coyote yips, canyon howls, forest whispers and starryskied silence.
