Where to start, where to start. Well Jeff and Burner were in a band called the Automatic Flares years ago until they kicked out their guitarist. Mick met Burner on a bus on the way home from Carlow and got talking. Needless to say both were well and truly rubber monkeyed. Mick joined the band, the name was changed to Esquire and after a number of succesful gigs left for America for the summer along with the then drummer. On arriving back Jeff and Mick were disheartened with the drummers and Byrners attitude and both were "relieved of their duties", shall we say. During this time a number of short term replacments and psychos were drafted in but things never got back to their former glories. Bullets were bitten and the two prodigal sons returned only for one, the drummer, to go skiing along the white slopes that can be found in most dublin pubs and clubs theese days. The band went into liquidation for a number of months during which time a number of new songs were written re igniting the hunger between the remaining band members. Now all we needed was a drummer....... After much thinking we decided to recruit Stephen, Micks brother. Once again the band changed their name to CRESCENDO and the band was complete.....
