Eddie Gaiger and brothers Luke and Matt Vankan form the line-up of exciting new band on the Auckland scene, Crescendo Mafia.
Luke and Matt are brothers from Sydney who now reside in Auckland. Eddie, a native of Coromandel featured in NZ Idol Top 10. Together they are a musical force, packed with song-writing talent and stage presence.
With musical influences ranging from the Killers, The Police, Jeff Buckley, Kings of Leon and John Mayer, the band which formed in 2008, are prolific song-writers.
Talented and creative, Crescendo Mafia are rapidly gathering an enthusiastic following of fans who recognise the chemistry which will propel them to success.
The band recently won their first award after only six months together and their first ever single release. They won Auckland's Juice TV "Best Indie Video" for their single "I Told You So".
The band is currently working on their next single "Baby Lies" to be released in July 2010.
