Still working on that hot first release.

Feeling a bit camera shy

CrewmanNumber7 formed out of the remnants of the punk band Fiasco. In 2003 Joe and Matt made up 2/3 of a band named Fiasco. Early in 2004 Fiasco was recording their first EP at Sub-Standard Studios with Tim Yordy doing the production and mixing work. From that time spent together in the studio Tim ended up joining the band on guitar.

In the early summer of 2004 the band's drummer left and Fiasco spent the next several months searching for a new drummer and during that time a new musical direction and vision formed in the band. In August Nathaniel Martin joined the band as their new drummer. As the band headed into the studio in December of 2004 it became apparent that a name change was in order to better reflect the band's current musical direction and also because of copyright issues. And so CrewmanNumber7 was born.

In the Summer of 2005 the band recorded 5 songs with Producer Barry Blair. Those 5 songs would go on to become the "When Yellow Met Blue" EP. On the CD you will hear that the band was influence by such acts a Sunny Day Real Estate, Relient k, Roper, and Five Iron Frenzy. Our music tells our life story and our struggles with our Christian faith through good times and bad. When it comes down to it we are just 4 guys with nothing better to do with our lives so we started a band. Through energy based shows and cathy songs we hope to impact those who listen our music in a positve way. While keeping focused on God and where he is leading us in our lives.
