What happenes when you put some of the biggest rappers in the Bay Area together with a couple of the hardest heavyweights in rock? Watch the place blow up! CRIMESEEN offers a new genre of music 'Gangster Metal' and re-defines what HARD is! CRIMESEEN was just an idea between a couple rappers and rockers down here in northern cali. and one day two worlds came together to form what CRIMESEEN calls 'Gangster Metal' !!! CRIMESEEN started playing gigs all along the Northern Cali Coast and the whole Bay Area supporting groups like Digital Underground, Insolence, The Dickies, Violence, SkinLab, Spike 1000, and rappers like, Xyzibit, Mista FAB, J-DIGGS, The Alcoholics, etc. with no stickers, shirts, or cd's, just word of mouth! There was such a warm welcome to CRIMESEEN that they won a 2004 California Music Award for 'Best Emerging Artist' following in the same shoes as Metallica back when they won that very same award back in the day.
The vocal elements in the band consists of some of the best Bay Area Rappers ever, Ray Luv, Ant D.O.G. & MAc MAll (ceo of THIZZ ENT.) Ofcourse we all know that Ray Luv(grandson of CAb Calloway) had his first hit in 1993 'Get my money on' and then released his Atlantic debut 'Forever Hustlin' with Ant D.O.G., Mall, Grin, and the whole Link Crew. As well was in a band called Strickly Dope with one Tupac Shakur, eventually ghost writting some of Tupacs biggest hits! Both Ray and Ant have appeared on numerouse compilations with Master P and Young BlackBrother records to name a few, copin some gold and even some platinum under their belts! Mix this with some heavy rockers from The Bay and you've got CRIMESEEN!!
