Crimes of Passion

Crimes of Passion

 San Jose, California, USA

Not what you would expect!

In 2005, the band was started by Juliana Michelle who is the last original member. Throughout the years since the first members started it in high school, there have been over 35 different members. Starting off playing Ozzy Osbourne and Misfits covers, the band eventually started making their own music with influences like Randy Rhoads and Danny Elfman.

Four years in a row, Crimes of Passion was in a local radio station, KFOX's Last Band Standing contest where they made the top four every year which earned them a spot at Shoreline opening for the Dooby Brothers, Steve Miller Band, Big Brother, and Greg Kihn. They also had the honor of opening for Pat Travers and Foghat. The last year they entered the contest, they won.

Juliana is endorsed by Jackson Guitars, Clayton USA Picks, and Sfarzo Strings who she performed with at NAMM two years in a row. She has done some solo guitar shows opening for Michael Schenker, and most recently the Misfits.

The band's line up seems to be changing all the time, but currently the band is made up of 3 guys, Ray, Parviz, and Ryan, and one girl, Juliana. The group plays locally in the Bay Area and has played many venues like the Avalon in Santa Clara, the Big Fox Theatre in Redwood City, and other small clubs/pubs around San Jose.
