Hailing from Auckland, Crimson Rain consists of four members from three different nationalities who embrace the post-grunge era with heavy distortions, elegant solos, head-banging riffs, powerful beats and impressive sounds that will catch hold of your mind.
The band started playing together since May 2010 when members Pras Kumar (vocals, guitar), Avi Pranish (lead guitar), Ben Lee (bass) and Matt Bunce (drums) got together with the intention of writing good rock and taking their music to the world. Each member of Crimson Rain contributes in different ways with influences from Grunge and Metal to Flamenco and Baroque.
Having recorded their first EP 'One By One' in August 2010 with producer Ben Ruegg, their first single 'Break' has hit the Reverbnation charts and is still making its mark on social networking sites. On the back of this, Crimson Rain intends to record a full-length album and take their music on tour in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the rest of the world.
