Rob Howell is CRISIS COUNCIL.
Between appearances as a solo artist and in bands, Edinburgh-based Rob Howell has played music festivals including Reading, Leeds, The Great Escape & Rockness, and shared stages with artists such as Ben Howard, Newton Faulkner, Colin Hay and Doves.
Whilst playing in previous bands, Rob proved himself to be a prolific songwriter - writing more than a hundred songs for his solo project alone, but at the start of 2012 decided to start again from scratch with a live session band and a new name: CRISIS COUNCIL.
On stage, Rob is now joined by a revolving cast of Scotland's best musicians from the independent music scene.
Crisis Council are currently working on the Four Walls project - in February and March, Rob is writing and recording 14 new videosongs - see http://crisiscouncil.tv for the latest videos. In the summer, Crisis Council will be releasing seven favourite tracks from the Four Walls project as an EP.
