Critical Design is rock for all ages. The Great Falls, Montana based group formed in 2003 as a cover band, but this was to be short-lived. The combined years of playing experience soon gave way to the writing and recording of their own music. The group created 10 songs with a noticeable "classic rock" feel, featured on their debut album "One Track Mind". The CD was released on their independent label, Byrd Records.
Our influences are vast: Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles, Boston, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, The Eagles, Collective Soul, Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Deep Purple, Crosby Stills & Nash, Tom Petty, Van Halen.
