In May of 2008, Critical Point, four fairly young (14-17) friends decided to form a band that has taken off locally. In just a few short months they have written ten (10) songs with plans of recording their first CD this spring (2009). Critical Point has focused on introducing a new style of music to the Southeast scene, drawing inspiration from bands such as, Attack Attack, Anberlin, Disciple, Stellar Kart, and a variety of others.
Critical Point is working on making a name in the region and creating a lasting impression among fans. Combining elements of classical metal and rock, Critical Point brings a unique sound, filled with tightly-woven guitar solos, speed-metal drumming, and strong vocal melodies.
With each highly energetic performance, these four young men continue to gain admiration from their fans and respect from fellow bands. A highly self-motivated group, Critical Point is driven by their passion to serve their Lord making music, with no intention of slowing down.
