Crooked Little Town.....(formally known as Splitscreen in 2007) have been launched into the spotlight of the Irish music scene receiving extensive coverage from both regional and national media and attracted reocrd label interest in the UK, Ireland and the States with their achievements over the past year...

"Splitscreen look set to follow in fellow countrymen Snow Patrol and Ash’s footsteps as the Emerald Isle’s next big rock export” TOTAL GUITAR MAGAZINE

BBC RADIO 1 'BEST UNSIGNED LIVE MUSIC ACT' 2007
Splitscreen scooped the award for Radio 1 ‘Best Unsigned Live Music Act’ at the FATE Entertainment Awards. The band played live at the glitzy star-studded red carpet Awards Ceremony at The Waterfront hall in Belfast.

"a thoroughly enjoyable set of high octane rock and roll that had the dancefloor gyrating and lapping up a blitzkreig of choppy wah-wah guitars and hands in the air chorus....isn't too far off Green Day at their most anthemic and melodic" Fate Entertainement Magazine

“Its FATE – Splitscreen are ‘Best Live Music Act” Northern Constitution (front pg), Derry Journal, Chronicle, Times, Belfast Telegraph etc

OXJAM MUSIC FESTIVAL 2007
The band were chosen to play at the UK's biggest music festival with all the proceeds going to the Oxfam charity. Make Music - Raise Money- Elimate Poverty Campaign.

IRISH MUSIC RIGHTS ORGANISATION - SHOWCASE TOUR 2007
Splitscreen played at the IMRO showcase tour 2007 "one of the most sought after gigs on the Irish music calendar each year, the Tour has a strong reputation for showcasing the best emerging Irish acts on the cusp of success." imro.ie

"So far all the hard work from has paid off with a string of impressive gig slots and a haul of awards. Maybe someday there’ll be a Brit or a Grammy to add to that collection" Drop-D, Ireland

“Andrew Kerr takes care of vocal duties, he has a certain stage presence reminiscent of a less camp Brandon Flowers in the way he struts the stage, mic in hand. Vocally when he puts the effort in there are little touches of Gary Lightbody” Drop-d Ireland

PRINGLES UNSUNG NATIONAL FINALISTS
Following a nationwide UK and Ireland music competition, Splitscreen was one of 6 bands (and the only Irish band) chosen to perform at a secret gig in London in Jan ’07 in front of music industry experts.

“Splitscreen's diverse melodies and strong choruses were a breath of fresh air” Ian McCulloch (Echo & The Bunnymen)

“the band is set to follow in the footsteps of other successful music exports Snow Patrol and The Divine Comedy after being heralded by one of rock’s elder statemen as ‘the next big thing.” The Times, Chronicle etc

“Unsung Heroes set to hit The Big Time” The Belfast Telegraph
