Crooked Routes is a rough-around-the-edges, roots rock, folk influenced band of talented songwriters and musicians.
Influenced by Gram Parsons, Son Volt, Chet Atkins, The Band, and The Rolling Stones, Crooked Routes stands apart from the pack with their ability to create original tunes that leave melodies in your head for days to come. “It is what occurs when strong song writing meets up with talented musicianship.”
The name, Crooked Routes, is inspired by the diverse musical backgrounds of the members and the sundry routes each have traveled to finally come together, Brian from West Virginia, Vince from New York, Mr. Seijo from Miami and Craig from North Central Florida. The four main routes leading to Asheville symbolize this convergence of styles, sounds, and abilities into one focal point, GREAT MUSIC!
