Bio
A collaboration between Nix, Moran and Roppo was first publicly mentioned by Nix in a 2009 interview with MORSE, in which he stated "The next project that I'm trying to initiate involves me on guitar, Dustin Moran on guitar and keys, and Nick Roppo playing drums. That’s the next album. That can’t suck." Of the nascent project, Nix's sister Nicole commented in July 2009 that "I'm not at liberty to talk about it but I think [the project] is pretty fucking amazing. Just beats and sounds like you’ve never heard before, ever." 5380 music magazine reported in July 2009 that the trio had begun recording in the 24th Street Session Studio...............................................................................The CROOK'S COAT has been creating psychedelic countri-blues for those in dire need of getting their groove back.
