Still working on that hot first release.

God has been present in the formation of the band Crossdriven since the beginning. Let us break it down step-by-step and let you in on ALL the behind the scenes action of how this Christian band came together.

It began with two members and over the course of three years it has grown to six. It all started with drummer, Erik Smith, and bassist, Jonathan Creason. These two had been playing together for a number of years in Riverbend Baptist Church's Youth band. God gave Jonathan and Erik a desire to branch out and form a new band. They still needed a lead guitar player, acoustic guitar player and a lead singer. The search for the rest of the band began on the campus of Gainesville State College. One semester later, Erik had a Political Science class with a guy named Ryan Reece. At the time, Ryan was just someone that sat in front of Erik and never talked much until............ the very next semester, the same two people ended up, by no mistake in the same class again! To their surprise, Ryan was in an acoustic band with two other friends, brothers Alex & Jon Gailey, who were looking for a drummer and bass player. These two groups soon came to the conclusion that they needed to join forces and create what is now called Crossdriven!

The first meeting of the new band was held on January 30th, 2010 which also was the first practice. The first gig the band played together was three weeks later in Huntsville, Alabama at a two day Discipleship Now Youth Conference. Since then, they have put together a number of originals and recorded a demo and God has blessed their union by allowing them to win Battles of the Bands and to place in talent searches in the Atlanta area. After every practice and every performance, the band wants to walk away feeling as if they gave their all for God.

We feel that God has put us together with the purpose to obey and follow His commands and lead people in spirit and in truth in all that we do, especially through music. There is NOTHING that compares to the power of the Holy Spirit moving in a worship service and we love nothing more than to worship and praise God through song.

We have just released our first EP and we could not be more excited. All glory be to God for all the success and accomplishments we have had.

Thank you to all who support Crossdriven!
