Crossfire is the Country & Western/Classic Rock Dance band you have been waiting for!

We play it all, from Current Nashville hits to Classic Rock. We get the party started and keep the action going all night long. Our intense vocals, tight three part harmony, and precise instrumental
arrangements engage our audience, motivating people to dance, sing along, and have fun!

Crossfire is ready to provide a quality show for any facility. From Private Parties to any Dance Hall or Corporate Function, we can provide Sound Reinforcement and Lights appropriate to your venue.

We have a large mailing list of fans, if you are booking a public show, please let us know if we can invite all the friends of Crossfire.

Gary Groves. Lead guitar – vocals
Gary credits his love of the guitar to his talented uncles, Larry and Bill Stevens. Gary is a US Navy Veteran and guitar Instructor. He has played in several local and regional bands including Nothin Fancy, Silverstar and Harvey and the Wallbangers. His musical influences include Santana, Vince Gill and Jimmy Reed. Gary says.. : Like da man said.. If'n it ain't been in a pawnshop.. it can't play Da Blues.. (anonymous)

Walter Killam. Bass guitar – vocals
A recent transplant from Texas, Walter spent 20 years playing in the Honky Tonks around Dallas. After moving to the cooler climate of Nebraska he found some great musicians to play great music with. Walter enjoys all aspects of music production and lives to Rock the House with Crossfire! Walter says “You need some duct tape to really make your point.”

Buck Weyerman. Drums
A veteran of the Omaha music scene, Buck started his musical career playing country music in local clubs and bars while still attending high school. He plays all styles of music, performed with many different bands and has done extensive studio work both here in Omaha and in Los Angeles, California. Buck was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame in 2001. Buck says: “Guys I gotta call it a night – I’m meeting with Elmo in the morning.”

Dave Forney. Lead vocals
Dave hails from Omaha and is a 20-year Army Veteran who performed with several acoustic groups and as a guest vocalist with local rock groups before taking the reigns with Crossfire. His musical influences include Toby Keith, Merle Haggard, Chris Cagle, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner and Gary Allan. Dave says "You know, I've been on a train, owned a truck, lost a good dog and have a momma - I belong in country music!"
