Canadian recording artists; Crossing Jane, deliver their unique brand of indie rock to an ever growing fan base, including a performance at Canadian Music Week 2016, opening act for Adam Gontier (of Three Days Grace), One Bad Son and Crash Karma (of Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth).
They made a notable impact with their debut EP release titled "The Void" in 2015, with songs airing on Ottawa rock radio, and selling out The Bourbon Room for the release show.
Their current EP "Something In The Water" has captured the attention of music fans in the Ottawa club scene, where the band has built their reputation by gracing stages with a high-energy show. The band has multiple songs from this release on regular rotation on Ottawa's high-influence rock station; Rebel 101.7 fm and various other college radio stations all over Canada. Their down and dirty single,"Live A Little" is also circulating the airwaves.
The group paid tribute to their close friend and comrade Joshua Tennant in the music video, "Wildman." His unfortunate death at a young age passed inspired the band to encourage those around them to seek help, if addiction is controlling their destiny.
The band has recently been venturing into new sounds, using violin, cello and various other samples into their version of hard-hitting rock. This new sound will make an very audible appearance on their next album, and give fans of Bring Me The Horizon and A Day To Remember a new kid on the block to listen to.
The musical prowess and vocal power of Crossing Jane is undeniable. Their relentless dedication to song writing has created a large catalogue of music that is consistently growing out of their own recording studio. The band foresees another new release in the very near future, as well as an extensive Canadian tour, that will expand their horizons.
After a two total roster changes over the years, Crossing Jane is: Joel Lefebvre (lead vocals/guitar), Kyle Van Wort (guitar), James Proctor (guitar), Andrew Parmelee (drums) and Nick Hallarn (Samples/strings/bass).
