"THIS WAS JUST A WONDERFUL GOSPEL CD !!!"

REVIW: CrossPoint String Band CD "END OF THE ROW"
From the moment it started until the last note of "Angel Band" you captured by full attention. Each song had just a little something that made you want to listen to it over and over. From the clapping to the supberb harmony singing I couldn't believe that the project had ended so fast. I played it several times in order to get the full impact of this powerful project. I played the entire CD and my request line was lit up like a Christmas tree the entire time your project was playing. I will be playing many of those requests for many weeks to come. Feb 2008 - Al Shusterman, KCBL/Backroads Bluegrass, Sacramento, CA

"Travelin' On"

Many (belated) thanks for sending us a copy of "Travelin' On." This is an anointed all gospel project full of life, hope and songs that have some real meat on them. The grouop sings these songs with some real soul. I especially enjoyed "Firing Line Medley," "Wayfaring Stranger," "Travelin' On Medley" and "Closer to Heaven." Thanks again for the inspired music. I'll be doing my best to spread the word."

"Recommended Bluegrass Music and Singers"

"This group is from TN and not only do they sing but the organizer of the group is also an evangelist. I have one of their albums, "Travelin' On" and it is tremendous. I especially like the song "He's Holding On To Me." although I don't think you will be disappointed in any of the music on the CD. Recommended: ALL. To see their available CD's click on crosspointstringband.org. All contact info can be found on their website. 2/2008 e-mail from Paul Heaton. - Paul Heaton, WMSD 90.5 FM, Lupton, MI

Bio

Glenn resigned as a pastor in 2002, bought a motor home, and moved his family into this house on wheels, leaving what was left behind to anyone who would take it. We do Bluegrass Gospel and had no idea that we would have such a powerful response. Our calendar filled quickly, and it needed to since we jumped off the edge and we're depending on these dates for our survival.

We moved out of our motor home in 2004, into a home without wheels in Shelbyville, TN. Our ministry through our band really took off then, being in an area that knew what a banjo was and centrally located an hour from Nashville. We've traveled nearly 300,000 miles, have had near 700 dates, have sold thousands of CDs, have been on hundreds of radio stations across the country and many foreign countries, are beginning our 8th recording, which will put us over 100 recorded songs. We had our first festival in Shelbyville this last May and had over 500 in attendance. We've opened for The Lewis Family, Paul Williams, The Sullivans, The Marksmen and others. We've gained a tight lively sound and each recording gets better.

This is what DJs have said from our song"Don't You Want to Go" on Prime Cuts of Bluegrass compilation disk :

"Whoa ! Where has this band been? They are as good as any bluegrass gospel band I have ever heard. The instrumentation is excellent, but the lead and harmony vocals really lift this band well above the treetops." -Sonny VanGelder
KBCS, Bellvue, WA.

"We'll be spinning this alot on HPR's new all bluegrass gospel channel...Great cut!"
-George Fair

Branson, MO

"Vocally this band is a musical tranquilizer. One dose brings solitude to a frenzied day. The band has great harmony and delivers their songs with conviction." -William Bledsoe
KMST, Rolla, MO.

"...Makes you want to sing along."
