Kelly, Chris and Mat had been keen to get involved in a new musical project for some time. They all posted on a popular music forum, searching for like minded people to get a band off the ground. After responding to each others posts and exchanging a few texts, they plucked up the courage to meet to talk about forming a band (who said meeting random strangers from the internet was a bad idea!).
In August 2010, in a trendy Harvester in Fareham, it quickly became clear we all had a love for music, similar music tastes and all keen to get on stage. So, just five tables away from the salad bar, three fifths of Crosstown were formed.
Mark and Neil were quickly recruited through friends and early September saw the first full band rehearsal in full swing! So far their set is well on the way to be finished, demos planned for October and then the quest for stage begins.
Since then Crosstown have been been performing songs that will stick in your head forever, with powerful vocals and a tight backline, Crosstown is fast becoming the band to see in 2011
