"Len Amsterdam Radio Review"

An exciting ride throughout, very very catchy material sure to be a big hit. One of the best new acts we have heard in a long time. Cross Town had us hooked from start to finish - a total powerhouse! A killer rhythm section, engaging intellectual offerings. This band is the total package! Cross Town really has something happening here! Cross Town’s sound is as big as the Grand Canyon, a complete breath of fresh air.

"103.9 ROAR Radio Review"

If I could find good inspirational stuff like this every day, I could put a CD on the station deck and go down to the pub for an hour and nobody would complain about missing my dumb quips between tracks. Good lyrics, good message and more important from my point of view, real fine listening.

CROSS TOWN DEBUT RELEASE "POINT OF VIEW
Phoenix, AZ - September 1, 2005

CROSS TOWN will release their first full-length CD, "Point Of View", nationally on Alethea Records Summer, 2006. The album was written, arranged and produced by David Van Kleeck and recorded by Cross Town in their Private "Disk Makers Partner" Studio - Jasongs Recording Studios, in Glendale, AZ. The album is comprised of 9 original songs and 3 cover songs by Robin Trower, totaling 12 tracks. Powerful guitar/keyboard based compositions and passionate performances by all, highlighted by Dave's soulful vocals and inspired guitar soloing, "Point Of View" brings the Power Blues/Blues Rock genres into perfect harmony with the Spiritual issues of Salvation, The Cross, Jesus and God's redemption of mankind through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. CROSS TOWN released an early version of the CD locally in the Southwest U.S. and over the Internet. The singles from the album, "To Die For Me", "Point Of View" and "Cosmos", have consistently charted, even into the Top 10 and received praise from around the globe.

The album also includes the piano based blues tune "Silvers Song", in honor of David's Dad. It was recorded "live" during a special recording session in memory of 'Silvers' passing and is a direct nod to the standard "piano bar blues" of old, but with a decidedly edgy and searing Blues Rock guitar taking the solo spot that guarantees to get your blood pumping! The cover tracks include Robin Trower's "In This Place", "Somebody Calling" and "Bridge Of Sighs", Robin's most recognized and requested song of all time.

CROSS TOWN's sound is a dynamic mix of Classic and Blues Rock with soulful vocals, inspired lyrics and powerful musicianship. "CROSS TOWN's songs are straight forward and thought provoking, their performances on stage are passionately powerful, CROSS TOWN pours their heart and soul into every performance! ... The High Note - Sept 2003"

Cross Town BIO:
Cross Town is an L.A. Blues/Rock Power Trio with a Memphis Soul feel and a Spiritual 'Point Of View'!
John, Bob and Dave have played together for many years throughout the Southwest U.S.A. in various bands - always with ONE thing in common: giving every ounce of energy they have to provide inspired performances!
Says Dave of the band, "We have played together for so long that the energy and musicianship of our live performances reveal the depth of our commitment to respect the music, each other and the fans - ALWAYS!
Having a Spiritual perspective to our songwriting and giving solid, high-energy performances is another reason we hear great feedback from the crowds after a show. We constantly receive email and comments from all ages of visitors to the many Internet Websites we post to, about how our songs and lyrics touched them and helped them in some personal way! It just doesn't GET any better than that!"

Cross Town is a versatile band, equally comfortable in the "Opening" slot of a show for the Headliner or Headlining the show, filling a dance floor at the local club, and giving inspirational performances for a variety of Church functions or Community Events and Special "Benefit" performances.
On a personal note, Dave has always loved the music of Robin Trower and has covered Robin's music in every band he's ever been in. How incredible then is it, that he should by chance not only meet Derek Sutton (Trower's Manager), but also become Robin & Derek's Webmaster and have Derek himself manage Cross Town?! Says Dave about the situation, "It is a dream come true! I get to work inside the Trower Circle and help give back to someone who has inspired me so much AND I get to
