"Crown Royal is Detroit's latest hip-hop supergroup"

The emcees known as P8tience, A-Dot, and Recipe Aim have come together like Voltron to form Detroit’s next supergroup, Crown Royal. You can’t lose when you come out the gate with substance and lyrics.

"Detroit supergroup Crown Royal releases ‘Uh Huh’"

Despite the haters, Detroit is known to have a dope music scene. So, it’s only natural that three of its finest MCs have come together to form the supergroup, Crown Royal. Members P8tience, A-Dot and Recipe Aim will have you wanting to sip some Crown Royal on ice while listening to their debut single “Uh Huh.” Clever metaphors about race, God, politics and society float over a mellow head-nodding beat, swollen with that 90’s hip-hop vibe, exuding a bold and soulful energy. Produced by Paul Cabin and featuring artist H-I, “Uh Huh” was released by the Black Collar Music Group.

Described as polished, seasoned and sharp, P8tience is a clever D-Boy who gained his industry experience while traveling with Shady Records alumnus Obie Trice. Garnering critical acclaim for his appearance on several mixtapes and his own independent projects, Industry Ready and Industry Ready 2.0, P8tience has performed locally and worldwide.

Antoine (A-Dot) Crowder’s rise from one of the toughest areas in the D is shown through his inspiring messages about truth, empowerment and freedom. Determined to be a mentor and leader, A-Dot delivers a unique testimony about hip-hop’s new agenda. A-Dot has honed his craft on several stages throughout metro Detroit.

Recipe Aim has created his conscious artistry by killing negativity and birthing positivity. Recipe Aim honors the memory of his deceased older brother through his evolution from impulsive teen to triumphant battle rapper. He is determined to “Kill the Hate” that threatens hip-hop culture.

Crown Royal recently performed at the Dillatroit (Dilla Day) festivities honoring legendary producer, J Dilla. Their conscious and witty lyricism will have the fellas and the ladies saying, “It’s no more uh huh, it’s more like uh uh!” Crown Royal’s self-titled EP will be released some time this year. Check out “Uh Huh” below. - Raquelle Harris

"Detroit’s hip- hop group Crown Royal brings new single ‘Uh Huh’ to Mix Bricktown"

Remember when Hip Hop represented lyricism, substance and a message?
Not to knock anyone’s creativity outside of that, but it’s hard to forget the reasons that we fell in love with hip hop in the first place.
Well, a Hip Hop super group out of Detroit has formed to restore that feeling. Hip Hop artists P8tience, A-Dot and Recipe Aim have decided to combine their talents and become, Crown Royal. Crown Royal is the recognition of the blood line, knowing that they come from royalty. Imported from Detroit and it’s toughest parts, they have been through it all. Most likely that’s why their styles are as profound as they are.
With witty conscious wordplay, polished lyricism and next level songwriting, they are able to convey a pleathora of reality music, storytelling, struggle and triumph. Individually, they’ve made their marks as solo artists on several platforms across the country.Waisting no time in releasing new music, the supergroup released a very concious song titled “Uh Huh” (Featuring H-I) produced by Los Angeles, California producer Paul Cabbin, which has caught an immediate buzz.
A hip hop track driven by live instrumentation, crispy snares and a bass line to live for. With witty lyricism, wisdom and substance, Crown Royal reminds us that “If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything”. A record that supports the idea of creating your own agenda that supports you and those around you, instead of what the world insists you should do. It’s no more “Uh Huh”, it’s more like “Uh Uh”! It’s said that we can expect a EP project from them this year. - Tatiana Simone
