Crown of Mercy

Crown of Mercy was founded in 2005 by Rick Johnson, Dirk Werner and Michael Reed. These three individuals have been performing together since they were teenagers. They had gone their separate ways, but always kept in touch as close friends. They were brought back together to once again take the stage but with a mission and purpose this time. They have realized that it is not about them. It is truly about the one and only God and His son Jesus Christ. Their mission is a “New Beginning”, to educate the world of the mercy of our Lord and Savior. Jeremy Richardson was brought on board in 2006. His youthful energy, amazing abilities and his advanced understanding of the Word of God has solidified the group and has created the winning combination of the crunch and thump of hard rock with the melody that only God can deliver.

The influences of the members come from a wide variety of sources to include: Progressive Rock, Metal, Fusion, Jazz and even Classical. When you listen, you might hear a little of each of the genres within their story. These influences with the Word of God as their guide and inspiration, really sets “Crown of Mercy” apart from other bands that are performing today.

Their founding belief is that we all need mercy and grace with love to steer us towards the right direction in life.
