"CROW NO MORE ROCKS THE PINE BELT"

"Crow No More absolutely blew me away the first time I heard them! The quartet's sound can be described as soulful, dynamic and powerful with awesome guitar solos and one the the tightest rhythm sections in the Hattiesburg (MS) area. With a hint of country music, the band's sound is unique when combined with mind-boggling fifteen minute jam sessions that segue perfectly in and out of original tunes and cover songs. Crow No More is highly energetic with a commanding stage prescence that holds your attention for the duration of the concert" -DJ Dave. - WXXR Rock 104.5 FM

Bio

CROW NO MORE is a raw southern rock based jam band from the deep woods of Covington County. The Seminary native's sound can be derived from the greats of country music's past such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr. & Willie Nelson. The group's original material also has a distinctive mark of the blues, reminiscing of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix & Eric Clapton with a hint of modern sensations Drive By Truckers and Cross Canadian Ragweed. Lead guitarist Chris Morrison's playing has been described as explosive and soulful complemented by his unique vocals and heartfelt lyrics about Southern life. Chris McPhail's smooth and driving bass lines along with Harvey Lott's hard-hitting drum licks comprise a thick and talented rhythm section. The quartet's sound is complete with the guitar work and additional vocal talent of Kenny Nelson. What results is a fantastic array of larger-than-life southern grooves and face-melting guitar solos guaranteed to impress the toughest critics.
