"Instanly Classic"

on new single - Hey Mama - “instantly classic – a fantasy duet by Van Morrison and Stevie Nicks” - - Fear of Fiction Magazine (Oct 24, 2012)

"They have a touch of the Pixies"

"To call such a group of talented musicians a throwback to the glory days of Americana feels a little bit unfair, but is perhaps quite accurate. They have a touch of the Pixies about them. You should go and check out Crows Parliament at the venue closest to you when they head over to our fair capital and teach us all how to strip over-produced and perfect music back to the bone and offer some filthy, raw, autotune shunning sounds." - Mike Brown, London music Blog (Feb 10, 2012)

Originally one part Londoner, one part West Country and one part Canadian. Jack, Dean and Staci met in Bristol and over a couple of bottles of red wine and after one rehearsal they were unleashed on the world in Stokes Croft, the Arty Bohemian quarter of Arty and Bohemian Bristol. After 18 months Staci had to return to Canada and after a long search has been replaced by the fantastic Benita Johnson, an accomplished singer and songwriter in her own right. Staci will be available for American and Canadian shows.

Crows Parliament is a Rural folk lore term for when the normally solitary crows gather together, hold a noisy "parliament" and then attack one of their own and peck them to death.
