Croyal as you may have noticed is an unusual name. It came to pass on a jam session night when our original bass player was so drunk he couldn't say the words crown royal, in referance to our favorite drink! He instead shouted "pass me the Croyal!" ...and so it came to pass! We started out as your typical garage cover band. a group of guys who loved to party and loved metal, in a small town where the majority of people liked latino music or rap! Croyal was the breakthrough for this small community and those surrounding. We began doing Sabbath and Priest covers but soon realized our talents were much more than someone elses music. We wrote our first tune for a really close friend and bassist who died in car accident in December 2006. The song entitled "Final Ride". Immediately after recording this song, the once negative crowd soon raised an ear towards us and realized we were the real deal. Now in 2009, 3 cd's later, Croyal has radio airplay along with bookings for biker ralleys, New Years bashes and even the "lets just hire Croyal to party"gigs!
