Bio

Growing up in Darby Twp., Pa Charles “Cruze” Clark always had an infatuation with music since an early age. "I remember being in my living room with my mom and acting out old jodeci videos I would see on TV I knew from there I loved everything about music and it’s something I love to do". Growing up in a single parent home Charles and his younger brother grew up with just their mother being the provider. With his father barley in contact, he would turn to other family members such as his uncles and grandfathers to pose as a male role model to look up to. "I think my grandfathers and uncle had the biggest influence as far as male role models. Whenever they come around they would teach me right from wrong". Moving to New Jersey during his grade school years Charles blossomed with his music as he started with writing poetry then excelled to converting those poems into songs. "What many people don’t know about me is all of my material is honest. The way I feel things that happen from my life and others around me it’s all real". "A lot of times when I’m stuck in life situations my brain searches for a beat right then and there". "Whether I just broke up with my girlfriend or something good happening in my life"." As it happens my mind just puts a beat to it and from that point on I just start to develop lyrics out of my feelings". During his stay in Sun Berry, small projects located in Pemberton NJ Charles spent a lot of time developing his surrounding into rhymes. "I think sun berry is what really made me as an artist as much as I wanted to get out. It helped me to realize music is the only way I can vent to the world how I really feel". "If we had a conversation right now I barley tell you anything but put a mic in front of me and you will hear what’s on my heart”. Working with many artists Charles has gained a lot of experience in being in the studio also with song writing. "This isn't music to me it’s something more to people I’m just an average guy but behind a mic I’m something more I’m someone with an opinion that a lot of people can relate to". Coming out with Talk That S**T mixtape April 11. As well as, upcoming show in Brooklyn April 22.
