Why CrY?
“It’s the ultimate human emotion, at least for me. I cry when I’m happy, when I’m angry, when I’m sad, when I’m thankful…so you could never just assume how I feel when you see me cry, but I do it anyways. Sometimes it’s unfortunate for me, but it’s always beneficial for my music.”
From a shy yet talented youngster, mature beyond her years to an expressive and compelling singer/songwriter. That has been the journey taken by CrY, and the outcome of her voyage is now vividly exemplified on her emotional singles “HeartBroken” and “And I” on her first self-titled album (release date TBA).
Keisha has been writing her own material for over ten years, creating songs in R&B, Alternative, Pop, and Gospel genres. Keisha continues to enhance her songwriting abilities, writing for various artists in Toronto, US, and Carribean as well as more original material for her album.
