COTM completed their EP "And Then There Was None..." in the summer of 2007 and continue to distribute far more than anticipated. Tracks from this album are available for streaming/download at their website cryofthemartyrs.com and also myspace.com/cryofthemartyrs. Songs from the EP are aired on the radio in Australia which is causing a growth in fans from abroad. Cry of the Martyrs plan on going into the studio soon to record a new EP which should be released in the summer of 2008. Even though the "...And then there was none" EP is selling like hotcakes, fans that have heard the new songs believe the upcoming EP will supercede "...And then there was none" by a long shot.

Cry of the Martyrs is a Christian Post-Hardcore band from the Albuquerque NM area. COTM as it is now was formed in April of 2007. While only playing together for a short time as a band, the members of COTM have grown up together and learned each others styles and heart. COTM’s music deals with the struggles of life, but more importantly, who to turn to in those struggles. The focus is writing about life in general and how to look at it in Christian aspect. COTM has focused energy into New Mexico’s music scene statewide, and has begun to birth a steady following of Martyr fans. Far more surprisingly a steady fan base in Australia has begun to evolve as well, because of COTM receiving steady radio time in Oz. They are also planning to expand with more tours in 08’. As they continue to progress, their song writing does as well. COTM’s ultimate goal and focus will always be upon God and spreading what Christianity truly is, and not the misrepresentation this faith has received.
