While most of todays metal/hard rock acts adhere to the basic verse - chorus - verse pattern, these Canadian extremists have yet to follow any conventional songwriting formula. This metal hybrid always expands their musical boundaries to the very maximum, creating a lethal mix of brutality that is yet to be matched by any in their genre. Originally known as Necrosis, CRYPTOPSY first emerged from the Montreal province in 1992.
