He's 17, He's from Brooklyn,
He's Hip-Hop, and spits with a purpose.
...Yet still in High School, C-RYS (stands for
Christ Risen) knows his purpose for living
is beyond MTV, Playstation, Pimped Cars,
and girls. Born to parents Ruben Rivera Sr.,
and Sandra Paz from Brooklyn, NY, C-RYS
always had a burning passion to speak life
to his peers. He tells the story of how
he talked one of his classmates out of
getting an abortion. Christianity is not
something he hides because there is not
one person in his High school that does not
know he is one. They say they can't wait to
get their hands on his CD when it drops.
If you were to close your eyes and listen to
C-RYS spit, you would never guess this
guy was only 17. He is mature beyond his
years in his voice, his lyrics, and his
personality. Although very serious and
passionate about his lyrics and rapping,
C-RYS still finds time to play Basketball,
Football, and Handball. He loves making
people laugh and is very devoted to his
church and God. His life's goals are to
"honor God daily", "get married and be
great at it and be a major success.
