My name is Crystal Joi Banks. I am 22 years old, born to the mother of Shirley Stewart and father of Eugene Banks on January 7th 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I was told at the age of 3, I knew what I wanted to be and do witch is Singing and every opportunity I get that is what I do.
I love singing and writing songs, I live, eat, and sleep music. I been singing since I was 4 years old starting in the church youth choir, then moving my way up into the adult choir at the age of 10. I also song in my Elementary and High School choir‘s, then on to city's talent shows.
At the age of 13 in 2003, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital sponsored one of the biggest talent show’s called Unreleased. There was an audition for all of Cincinnati Public School Students, only 24 student was chosen to perform. I was the youngest student to be apart of the talent show, I song (For You I Will) by Monica in front of 800 people. I didn’t win but it was good experience for me and from that moment on I knew what God had for me and what he wanted me to do with my talent.
I love singing because it's apart of my ministry to help save souls and get people back on track loving, trusting, believing, and giving God yourself to him. I sing to make people think of how good God is, and that he will never let's us down, that he will always be there, and make us happy.
When I sing I want God to use me to be a messenger to his people, not just me performing but gifting the message that he care‘s and love us. I sing R&B, Pop, and Soul Gospel and I’m very, very passion it about what I do and how I do it. I’m a hard worker and never give’s up because what don't kill me make me stronger.
