Crystal Marven

Crystal Marven is definitely a bird with a song; hence, she sings. As a young dynamic singing sensation that she is, Crystal has achieved much and still she has what it takes to achieve more – a great voice and the strong love and commitment to perform on stage.
Between her innate inclination and talent in music, her extensive experiences on stage and on screen, and her former mentor, Joe Jackson, Crystal certainly has what it takes to succeed and reach the top.
Crystal‘s love for music started as a young girl. Growing up at Virginia Beach, her father an avid country music listener while her mother is into pop and love songs; thus, it is no wonder why Crystal’s early idols were Olivia Newton-John, Shania Twain, Patsy Cline, and Mariah Carey to name a few.
However, as a young girl, Crystal was painfully shy. Luckily, her mother saw beyond her shyness and recognized her true potentials. Despite her father’s doubts and hesitancy, her mom entered her into the “Little Miss Virginia” pageant. They have given her their full support ever since. True to her mom’s expectations, the moment she got on stage, it has been a homecoming for her. Since that time, there has been no doubt that performing is a part of who she is. She also loved tap, ballet & jazz classes growing up and trained in the renowned Ice Castles in Lake Arrowhead, CA for figure-skating for a few years.
Indeed, Crystal has come a long way from being the little girl vying for the “Little Miss Virginia” crown. After she has realized that her goal is to pursue a musical career, she began show casing her talent in various gigs and shows. To date, she has recorded a self-titled pop/dance album, been on a world tour, named as the "The Golden Princess", performed on television shows with international audience, acted in two movies (Destination Fame and Diamonds from the Bantus), and most recently, graduated from UNLV with honors with a degree in criminal justice. Her songs have also been selected by Cosmo Radio’s "Cocktails with Patrick Breaks the Band" on Sirius. They even played her song, “You're the One" on air.

She is currently recording the type of music she really loves and is co-writing most of the songs. Her music still has dance influence but with electric guitar and slight rock vibe on it. Her signature ballads also remain.
As her confidence grew and her style developed, so does her followers. She has also grown with and into her career as musician. From being a passive participant, she has now assumed a more active part by involving herself in the creative process of her music.
