Singles- Everything is Everything, #1, and Why

Born in Washington, DC, Crystal began her passion for music at the age of eight under the direction of Shirley Ables. Quickly deemed a young prodigy, she attended the Shirley Ables Music Ministry and began to receive instruction in piano and voice. Shirley Ables Music Ministry performed every year at the Shirley Caesar Crusade. Her professional career began at the age of 15 by winning 3rd place in the NAACP Act-So Award. With her rich soulful vocal sound she took the city by storm, entering into many local contests.
After completing high school, Crystal was accepted to study Music Business and Vocal Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and moved to Boston after her freshman year. Soon after her arrival in the city, Crystal became a force on the nightclub and jazz cafe scene performing lead vocals with the THELEMENTRIBE BAND. After taking a break from music for a few years, she returned home to her roots, Washington, DC. She quickly got back into the music scene and joined a local Go-Go Bands, “People of Praise” and “Pure Elegance”. She began working on a recording project as a member of Rev. Luke Mitchell, Jr. and the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church Celebration Choir. They later produced “He’ll Make it Alright” and “Celebration”.
Loving all styles of music, she started performing as a vocal performer for “Beyond Perfection Events” (one of Washington, DC’s premier event planning companies) and their clients. April 2008 her 1st Debut Album was released entitled "Anointed Expressions". Even though Crystal has yet to sign a music contract, she continues to focus on becoming a dynamic solo artist for the Lord.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
Matthew 6:33
Her Favorite Quote
