"Cry Wolf – The Home We Made"

After a fun night on the town this song was what I needed to get my Sunday moving. Cry Wolf hails from NYC and just recently started producing electronic music and must say I’m quite impressed with this song. Cry Wolf’s music has been featured in independent films such as The Locket, and even has had some radio play in North Carolina. don’t sleep on these guys. I never thought it was possible to combine Indie with Dubstep but as usual I’m wrong. The high pitched vocals with the soothing guitar rifts create a relaxing song but the Dubstep interwoven keeps listeners awake! Scoop up this track and cure that hangover! If you want to check out more of their music then check out their facebook and follow them on twitter

"Justin Phillips & Johnluke Lewis aka CRY WOLF"

In the words of Duncan McCloud from the clan McCloud and via the motion picture Highlander, (Said in a crisp Scottish accent) “There can be, only one …” And by golly ‘Everything Is Fine’ is that, and-then-some, and a bag of chips thrown in for good measure too.

I will not spoil the surprise for when you’re listening to this tune in its entirety, but amongst the pleasant audio static, the breaky dubstep chocolate centre and the electronic stance throughout, Justin Phillips and Johnluke Lewis aka Cry Wolf have most certainly come of age and most evidently bring their six year, magnanimous love of music with them to create this well encapsulated moment of New York City embodiment.

The East Coast, the rest of North Carolina and good ol’ New York beckon on Cry Wolf’s touring hit list. Just don’t call them out for an 18th Century sword fight okay? - Aerial Noise

"Cry Wolf - Hate It Or Love It ft. J. Rowdy (Cry Wolf Remix)"

Cry Wolf… a completely new Artist just added to the PTSL library. These guys have a pretty cool sound… it’s dubstep but it’s more along the lines of sporadic/off the wall electro much like that of Skrillex or Zedd’s Dead etc… The track we are featuring doesn’t really display their sound all that well since it’s a remix so you should head to their FB page for some more samples – link below.

This track is particularly cool – it’s Cry Wolfs interpretation of the early 2000 classic “Hate it or Love” featuring the murderers of rap (yes, this is supposed to be derogatory not “cool”) 50 Cent and Llyod Banks (I think that’s his name.) This is a version I actually enjoy listening to. J Rowdy sounds fresh and the electro background makes me forget the original and appreciate Cry Wolfs version. - Play This Song Loud

"Cry Wolf-The Home We Made"

Don't sleep on Cry Wolf, they are the future! 1st of many features to come!

Check out this sick dubstep joint. This type of music has a bright future in todays society. These high intensity beats are making their way onto everyones ipods. I had to put this one on replay. Would love to see them live. - The Fly Life NJ

"Cry Wolf - "Silence" + "The Home We Made""

Indie + Dubstep = epic

Cry Wolf is a group made up of two members from Raleigh, NC; I went to school with one of them. The group takes its indie background and threw some dubstep in it and well this is what you get, Cry Wolf. Watch out for Cry Wolf they are gaining attention fast if you don't jump on the bandwagon now you'll be the one crying wolf. - College Of Music

"Cry Wolf – The Home We Made"

"Cry Wolf mixes original indie music with electronic and dubstep styles to create something pretty unique, and people are really digging it."

Makes sense to me. Indie and dubstep fans can both rejoice with the mixing of the two formerly separate genres by Justin Phillips and friends. Enjoy - Dirty Mexican Lemonade

"Cry Wolf – The Home We Made + Silence"

"High pitched vocals and sped up beautiful vocals seem to attract my attention. You can follow Cry Wolf on facebook and twitter." - Good Music All Day

Bio

Cry Wolf was born when front man Justin Phillips of hardcore band Written in Red decided to pursue his interest in exploring the new frontier of electronic music. Teaming up with lifelong friend Johnluke Lewis, he set out to create music that fused his Indie/Harcore background with his newfound love for electronic music. With less than a year of performing under their belts, they have been met with rave reviews from top music blogs all over the web, had music featured in two films, and gotten radio play everywhere from New York to North Carolina.

Citing a broad range of influences everywhere from electronic music such as Crystal Castles and Skrillex, to grunge/punk bands like The Kills and Bloc Party, Cry Wolf uses a mix of live synths, software, and live percussion to create tracks that cannot be fairly contained in any "Genre." Known for their engaging live shows and passionate stage presence, they have created a constantly evolving experiment that will enchant you with beautiful melodies just seconds before smashing your face in with heavy hitting bass.
