Formed in 2002 Cry Yuma have spent the last 4 years conjuring a slightly pretentious and notionally eccentric style that is based on unconventional song structures. They have been informed by and compared to bands such as Pavement, Television and Radiohead. They dislike fashion, namely because their music doesn't quite fit and hope to foist their contradictions on the wider public this September with a series of gigs culminating in a date at the Crawdaddy on October 7th.
