A Kansas City native, Derrick "Lil Hurt" Judie of the city's northeast side turned music into more than just a listening pleasure, he turned it into an outlet. Reviving his mind of the struggle and conflict surrounding him in his neighborhood. In doing so Lil Hurt gives more than energy into his music he adds reality. Versatile lyrics go from vague; leaving the listener room to create of it the vibe of choice; while at the same time being lyrically specific and holding back no bars on releasing feelings onto the tracks.

As of this day, Lil Hurt is music. Receiving inspiration from genres that include gospel, old school r&b and hip-hop to hardcore rap from west to east coast, he believes there are no boundaries on music and its abilities.

Lil Hurt started rapping around his town, collaborating with other aspiring artist then moved his talent to Colorado in 2005 where in Denver he gained musical inspiration working with a wide range of talent and performing his songs in area clubs to be heard publically. His first album Ghetto Words, was therefore created. The solo album; as defined by its title; released thoughts in profound musical rhythm. And from here Corner Stackin Entertainment, created single handedly by the artist; took form.

The artist licensed Corner Stackin Ent. in 2007 however in 2011 moved its basis and the industry knowledge he gained in Colorado back to his hometown and has released numerous songs and collaborations with other artist. The first album since his return titled Step Yo Game Up was only a beginning.

The artist has performed at various local venues and establishments; when not entertaining a crowd he is even still with music, writing and/or recording yet another song. Being the CEO of his own label, there is a pursuit of success that pushes yet keeps this artist focused on delivering you; and everyone else hot music. He has shared in performance venue with national recording artist such as Lil Scrappy and Rasheeda, and others. Prominent local DJs have gave applause to the artist and his label mates for repeated successful performances, and Lil Hurts personal fan base continues to grow.

In the future Lil Hurt, seeing Corner Stackin Entertainment growing beyond music and opening doors in film, is currently finalizing scripts of his first feature film Tough World Decisions to be based in Kansas City. The artist also has received training and education in renewable energy and hopes to share this concept with the local market in effort to relieve energy strains and outrageous electrical debt in the inner city. His entertainment company, being backed by Blasian Impressions marketing consultation of Kansas City will be well on its way to delivering to the public hip-hop and urban muse at its finest.
