C Trix is a song writer, composer and recording hip-hop artist hailing from Bamenda, Cameroon. he is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Influenced by pioneers of hip hop such as Jay-z, Nas, Mobb Deep, Dipset, Jadakiss, Dr Dre, Wu-tang, Da Brat, Pharaoh Monch, Masta Ace, Lil Kim, 2 Pac, Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, Dogg Pound, Hittman, Eminem, Redman, Method man, Mos Def, Talib Kwali. To mention a few.
C trix started recording his own song in early 2004.
He studied Information and Communications Technology in the Vaal. While studying he earned himself a reputation around the Vaal through live appearances and performances including V.U.T Desmond Tutu main hall and the Isak Steyl Stadium (VUT), amongst other venues, he performed at Illusions night club in Vanderbijlpark, Vaal Playgrounds Stadium in Vereeniging (end of year party), Club Electric Avenue Rustenburg, Ko’Spotong Gandhi Square, Village Café Soweto and Wits University All Res Picnic Haartebeesport Dam.
Which gave him the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Khanyi Mbau, HHp, Bricks, PRO, F-eezy, Obita, Nstiki Mazwai, Lone riders, Thandisile, SMC and The Soil to mention a few
C Trix is an active member of the Vaal based hip hop group DaSouth Pole. He has been recording at We Make Music which is spear-headed by hip-hop producer Tempo Beatz, he is also recording with Flecx the problem who is part of the Heartless Marksmen Production team.
His songs have been aired on Metro FM, 99.2 YFM and other community stations such as Eldos fm. He promotes and distributes music through the following establishments Inaudible music, Locally Universal and through the following social sites,

C Trix has been featured on a handful of mix-tapes. “The Vaal to Swaziland” mix-tape produced by Tempo Beatz, Ortha the Instrumentalist’s album “The Fall”. He is also featured on Benson N Hedges’ newest album “Thinking Out Loud”. Currently releasing his first mixtape offering All Black Everything LP in 2012

he is also busy in studio working on a debut album due in February 2013, which includes collaborations with Blaqseed, Mjokes (Kalawa Jazzmee), 985,$upanova,Plus, Lyrical Angel, Deejay and Lone Riders to name a few.
