The band Cuism like said is young blood ...Meaning 6 months ago we started.... So we will not be pretending weve done a whole lot of flash recordings and gigs when in fact we have not ...but thats our goal for the near future !!!We both come from incredibly musical backgrounds and have been playing instruments of various types since we were kids ...For the last six months we have devoted all of our time to combining the different tastes to form one and "one sound" being the sound of Cuism ...We like to keep our music as original as possible although some may recognise slight influences from bands such as Alice in chains, Led zepplin, Lonnie mack, Roy buchanan,AC/DC, the ol Gunners and anything that has seriously bluesy rootstock or is just plain soul inspiring...
Me (kristie) and Jason went to school together but didnt "hang" that came much later when i spotted Jason out at a mates jam night ..I could see he played awesome ...and i got up and had a bit of a sing with him ..( i always usually did solo acts) ...and a couple of months later i arranged to meet up again for more serious jamming and wala!! Cuism was born!! We are just starting to record our 12 originals ,the first samples you see here in the audio section are the rough copies we made at home in a tiny room with a computer and all our gear squeezed in.. Oh yeah and we had a whole 3 days in which to complete it ...So enjoy!!!We are starting to get public recognition when we play out and will be playing around the sunshine coast in the near future so keep an eye out for Cuism!!!
