The Rise of Culann (Single)

Bogus Conclusions (Single)

Self titled Album 2012

"It's all to easy for bands to fall into that well-worn path of seeking their sound but ending up an identikit of every other band doing the rounds. The musical gene pool shrinks and we spin round in ever decreasing circles.

Not so for Culann. Since forming they have carved out a sound that is at once melodic, accessible, complex and challenging. And they truly have a sound of their own, calling on influences ranging from celtic-tinged folk through off-kilter prog to chest beating anthemic rock.

A band that has secured a loyal following, Culann have played the legendary King Tut's not once - but an astonishing 10 times, including prestigious support slots with the likes of The Datsuns and Band of Skulls. They have also supported punk polemicists Capdown in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.

Standing out from the crowd, Culann are in their element playing live, with huge tunes that create those 'hairs on the back of your neck' moments.

They have also caught the ear of the likes of top Scot DJ Jim Gellatly, getting airplay on his shows along with Amazing Radio and In:Demand sessions.

Having already released a number of excellent EPs over the last few years, Culann have just released their debut album, Its something special."
