Black, and Smith recorded a 6 song demo in early 2012, after which Carrillo and Stewart joined the band. The group is slated to begin recording it's debut full-length CD sometime in 2012.

Bio
Culture Vessel is an Experimental Music band from Tacoma, Wa that was assembled from the ashes of the original Heavy Metal band BlackSmith. In 2011, after several years of musical abstinence, founding members Raul Black and Kurt Smith agreed to form a new band with the intent of exploring new directions. In 2012 Dave Carrillo, the original bass player from BlackSmith, joined the band and brought with him new drummer Mike Stewart. What emerged is a sound that trends from light to heavy and all things in between. These extremes are threaded together by a diverse range of musical influences with roots in numerous genres.
