The CURBDOGS started out as an acoustic blues trio in 2002, before going electric in 2004. Drawing from various rock & blues influences, the CURBDOGS gained a strong reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the Northeast United States. Playing over 70 shows per year in venues from New York to Mississippi, they cut their teeth and gained a nationwide following. Written articles in publications like "THE VILLAGE VOICE" helped the band become more well known than most. MYSPACE.com named the CURBDOGS as one of NEW YORK STATES top unsigned bands from 2005 to 2007.
